Zero Tolerance Policy

What we do when someone breaks the rules — and how to report.

1. Scope

This policy covers all forms of casting couch behaviour, harassment, fraud, impersonation, and exploitation by any user of the Platform.

2. What Constitutes a Violation

Soliciting or implying sexual favours; harassment based on gender, caste, religion, sexual orientation, or any protected characteristic; threats or intimidation; fraudulent identity or misrepresentation; demanding payment for casting selection; sharing private content without consent; retaliating against reporters.

3. Reporting Channels

In-Platform Report buttons on auditions, profiles, and messages. Email: gtb@gatewaytobollywood.com. WhatsApp: [Number to be added]. Reports are confidential — the reported party will not see the reporter's identity unless legally compelled.

4. Investigation Process

  • Step 1: Acknowledgment within 24 hours.
  • Step 2: Initial assessment within 48 hours.
  • Step 3: Investigation within 7 business days.
  • Step 4: Resolution decision: warning, account suspension, account ban, or escalation to law enforcement.
  • Step 5: Reporter notified of outcome (without revealing confidential details about the reported party).

5. Consequences

First violation: warning + temporary suspension for minor cases; immediate ban for serious cases (casting couch, harassment, fraud). Subsequent violations: permanent ban + legal action.

6. Legal Escalation

For violations involving sexual harassment, intimidation, or financial fraud, GTB will report to: local police, the National Commission for Women (where applicable), the Cybercrime Cell, and pursue civil and criminal proceedings under the Indian Penal Code, POSH Act 2013, IT Act 2000, and applicable laws.

7. Whistleblower Protection

Reporters acting in good faith are protected from retaliation. False or malicious reports may themselves constitute violations.

8. Transparency

GTB will publish annual aggregated transparency reports showing: number of reports received, categorisation, resolution outcomes, average resolution time. Individual reports will not be disclosed.
