GTB (Gateway to Bollywood) is operated by Gateway to Bollywood Media Group Pvt. Ltd, founded by Rudra Jaitly. We are an India-resident Data Fiduciary under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).

• Account information — your name, email address, phone number.
• Profile content you submit — bio, photo, skills, categories, city.
• External profile URLs only — just the URLs you paste (LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, IMDb, Spotify, Wikipedia, etc.). We do not fetch or copy the content from those platforms.
• Identity verification data — Aadhaar OTP confirmation and PAN match performed via our verification partner Karza. No human reviewer is in the loop.
• Payment information — handled directly by Razorpay. We do not store your card or UPI details on GTB servers.
• Usage analytics — anonymised counts of how you use GTB pages.

• We do not fetch, scrape, mirror, copy, or store content from third-party platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, IMDb, Spotify, Wikipedia, Behance, SoundCloud, Vimeo, or any other). We are a discovery and networking gateway, not a content aggregator.
• We do not track your browsing history outside GTB.
• We do not collect precise location — only the city and state you choose to submit.

• Identity verification — to confirm you are a real Indian adult.
• Profile display — so casting teams and brands can discover you.
• Matching with opportunities — so we can show you relevant auditions, briefs, and roles.
• Payment processing — to charge for paid services (Aspirants, Newcomer Debut, Brand Deal Board).
• Fraud prevention — to keep fake profiles, impersonators, and scammers off GTB.
• Legal compliance — to meet our duties under Indian law.

You have the following rights. To exercise any of them, write to our Grievance Officer at ceo.iictn@gmail.com.

• Right to access — ask for a copy of your data. How: email us with the subject "Data access request".
• Right to correction — fix anything inaccurate. How: edit it yourself in your profile, or email us.
• Right to erasure — ask us to delete your data. How: click "Delete account" in settings, or email us.
• Right to withdraw consent — for any consent you earlier gave. How: toggle it off in settings, or email us.
• Right of nomination — nominate another person to exercise your rights if you cannot. How: email us with their details.
• Right of grievance redressal — see Section (m) below.

• Active account — your data is kept for the lifetime of your account.
• After you close your account — most data is deleted within 30 days.
• Backups — encrypted backups roll off after 90 days.
• Legal-hold exceptions — if Indian law requires us to retain specific records (e.g. tax invoices), we will, and only for as long as required.

• Payment processors (Razorpay) — only the data needed to take payment.
• KYC providers (Karza, UIDAI) — only the data needed for Aadhaar OTP + PAN match.
• Legal compliance — when a competent Indian authority lawfully requires it.
• We never sell your data. We never share your data for third-party marketing without a separate, specific, opt-in consent from you.

Your data is hosted on Indian servers (Mumbai region) by default. If a specific feature ever requires transfer outside India, we will obtain your specific, informed consent before doing so, in line with the DPDP Act.

• Encryption at rest and in transit (TLS 1.2+).
• Principle-of-least-privilege access — only staff who truly need it can touch your data.
• Audit logging of all access to sensitive data.
• Breach notification within 72 hours, as required under the DPDP Act.

We use only essential cookies needed for sign-in and basic site function. No third-party advertising trackers. Analytics are aggregated and anonymised.

GTB is for adults. You must be 18 years or older to use it. If you are under 18, do not create an account; if you would still like to participate (for example via a youth programme), a parent or legal guardian must sign you up and give consent on your behalf.

If we make material changes, we will notify you by email at least 30 days before the change takes effect, so you have time to review and decide.

We acknowledge every complaint within 24 hours and resolve it within 15 days, in line with IT Rules 2021 and the DPDP Act 2023. To file a formal complaint, use our grievance form.
