1. Portfolio Content Ownership
Members retain sole ownership of all content uploaded to their profile (photos, videos, audio, PDFs). Uploading content grants GTB a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to display, distribute, and promote such content within the Platform and on GTB's owned properties (Verrsa Vibe, GTB Today). This licence terminates upon account deletion, except for archival copies retained for legal compliance.
2. Music Composition Rights (Verrsa Vibe Productions)
Per Section 13 and 17 of the Copyright Act 1957, the music composition (melody, harmony, arrangement) is owned by Gateway to Bollywood Media Group Pvt. Ltd as the producer of the sound recording, and by the composer(s) and lyricist(s) jointly to the extent of their original contributions. Composers and lyricists retain their statutory rights to royalties through the Indian Performing Right Society (IPRS) and Phonographic Performance Limited (PPL).
3. Performance Copyright
Per Section 38A of the Copyright Act 1957, performers (Newcomer Debut Members, dancers, singers, and supporting cast featured in Verrsa Vibe productions) retain their performance copyright. Performers grant GTB a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use their performance in the produced music video and related promotional materials.
4. Re-Recording Disclosure
If GTB intends to re-record any artist's contribution (e.g., re-record a singer's vocals with a different singer for a regional version), the original artist will be informed in writing in advance. The original artist may withhold consent, in which case the re-recording will not proceed.
5. Attribution and Credit
Newcomer Debut Members, performers, composers, lyricists, and key crew receive credit on the music video, distribution platforms (YouTube, Spotify, Apple Music via TuneCore distribution to 150+ services), and GTB Today coverage. Members may use the produced video in their portfolio with attribution to GTB and Verrsa Vibe.
6. Trademark
"Gateway to Bollywood", "GTB", "Verrsa Vibe", "GTB Today", and "Newcomer Debut Programme" are trademarks of Gateway to Bollywood Media Group Pvt. Ltd, registered or pending registration in India. Unauthorised use is prohibited.
7. Reporting Infringement
Reports of copyright or trademark infringement should be sent to gtb@gatewaytobollywood.com with the documentation required under Section 79 of the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the IT Rules 2021. We comply with takedown requests in accordance with applicable law.
8. AI Training Opt-Out
GTB does not use member-uploaded content (including audition videos and headshots) to train artificial intelligence or machine learning models without explicit, granular consent. Members may opt out of any future AI-related processing via account settings. AI-generated likenesses or voice clones of any Member without consent are strictly prohibited and grounds for legal action.
