1. Application Fees
Always Rs. 0. There is no application fee at any tier. There is nothing to refund.
2. Professional Membership (Rs. 100/mo or Rs. 900/yr)
Non-refundable upon activation, except: (a) within seven (7) days of purchase if no Platform features have been used; (b) duplicate or erroneous charge; (c) Platform-side service failure of 30+ continuous days; (d) admin-decided cases of demonstrated misrepresentation by GTB.
3. Newcomer Debut Membership (Rs. 2,10,000)
Governed by the Refund Waterfall in Section 7 of the Newcomer Debut Contract Template. Summary:
- 100% refund if GTB cancels pre-production
- 80% refund if cancelled after shoot, before release
- 50% refund OR 12-month extension if edited but unreleased by month 12
- 100% refund if unreleased by month 24
- Voluntary withdrawal: 90% / 50% / 0% based on production phase

4. Brand Brief Posting Fee (Rs. 1,500)
Refundable if the brief is removed by GTB within 24 hours of posting due to policy violation, or if Platform service failure prevents publication. Otherwise non-refundable.
5. Brand Success Fee (5%)
Charged on awarded campaigns over Rs. 50,000. Refundable only in case of duplicate charge or admin error.
6. Refund Processing
All refunds processed via the original payment method (Razorpay) where the transaction is within Razorpay's 180-day refund window. Beyond 180 days: manual NEFT to the original bank account on record. Processing time: 7–14 business days from approval.
7. Refund Hold (Anti-Fraud)
GTB may delay refunds pending fraud investigation in cases involving disputed transactions, suspected chargeback fraud, or unverified bank details.
8. Disputes
Refund disputes follow the Grievance Redressal process at /grievance. If unresolved, escalate per Section 18 of the Terms (arbitration in Mumbai under Arbitration and Conciliation Act 1996) or to the Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission under Consumer Protection Act 2019.
9. Tax
Refunds are net of GST collected on the original transaction. GST refund is processed separately as per GST Act 2017 procedures.
10. Membership Reactivation After Refund
Members who receive a refund must wait ninety (90) days before re-applying. Newcomer Debut refund recipients are eligible for the next quarterly cohort.
