Casting Integrity Pledge

GTB's public commitment to merit-first, exploitation-free casting. Required acceptance for all casting directors.

Last updated: May 8, 2026Translation in हिंदी coming soon.

1. The Pledge

GTB selects talent solely on merit. We do not, and will never, condition casting on payment, sexual favours, romantic engagement, "compatibility tests," personal relationships, or any non-merit consideration. Anyone implying otherwise is acting outside GTB's Platform and policies.

2. Verification of Casting Directors

All casting directors on GTB are verified instantly via Aadhaar e-KYC + PAN match through Karza APIs, with no human in the loop. Additional industry credentials (production-house association letter or established credit) are auto-attached when you link your LinkedIn or IMDb. Verification completes in under 60 seconds.

3. Audition Posting Standards

Verified casting directors may post auditions only for genuine, real opportunities. Fake auditions, "test posts," or auditions with non-merit-based screening criteria are grounds for immediate ban and legal action.

4. Prohibited Conduct

Casting directors shall not: solicit or imply sexual favours; demand or hint at "compatibility tests" or in-person meetings outside professional settings; require payment or membership upgrade in exchange for selection; share applicants' personal information without consent; engage in retaliation against applicants who report misconduct.

5. Reporting

Any GTB member or applicant may report a casting director's misconduct via the Report button on any audition or profile page, or by emailing report@gatewaytobollywood.com. Reports are confidential. GTB acknowledges reports within twenty-four (24) hours and resolves or escalates within seven (7) business days.

6. Consequences

Confirmed violations result in: (a) immediate Platform ban; (b) public disclosure where legally permissible; (c) report to law enforcement under the Indian Penal Code, Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act 2013 (POSH Act), and Indecent Representation of Women (Prohibition) Act 1986; (d) civil action for damages where applicable.

7. POSH Act Compliance

GTB maintains an Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) per the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013. ICC contact: founders@gatewaytobollywood.com.

8. Acceptance

Casting directors must accept this pledge during onboarding. Acceptance is recorded with timestamp in our consent log.
